ABOUT ME!

This is YOUR Guide to Simple, Soulful Outdoor Mini Adventures!

Hi, I’m Anastasia — a Vancouver-based explorer with a love for wild places, simple joys, and the beauty hiding in plain sight.
This journey started back when I was in university, studying neuroscience and drowning in textbooks. I barely had time to breathe, let alone travel — but I craved a sense of connection and wonder. So I started small. I’d take myself on tiny adventures, like walking around my block and photographing every flower growing through the sidewalk cracks. On weekends, I’d escape for a few hours to hike a nearby trail or find a view I hadn’t seen before.

Those little pockets of exploration became everything. They reminded me that nature doesn’t have to be far away, and adventure doesn’t have to be big to be meaningful.
This blog is for everyone — whether you have a full schedule, a tight budget, or just want to dip your toes into the outdoors. I’ll share my tips, tricks, and easy-to-reach places so you can get out effortlessly. Consider me your adventure guinea pig — I try it all so you don’t have to.

You’ll also find helpful guides like backpacking checklists, day hike recommendations, and more to make your adventures smooth and fun.

Let’s explore together — follow along, share your stories, and discover the beauty waiting just outside your door.
